Dr. Russell Springer has been practicing Optometry for over ten years. He attended the University of Georgia and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis to obtain his Doctorate of Optometry in 1997. He has earned a reputation for great knowledge and skill in his profession by other Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. He provides a full range of care and treatment for your eyes. He and his wife, Mary Jill are the proud parents of one daughter who is now seven years old. Dr. Springer and Mary Jill work together to provide the best service and quality products to their patients.

Mrs. Mary Jill Springer

Mary Jill Springer, Dr. Springer’s wife is the Office Manager. She is a graduate from the University of Georgia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. She is the driving force to make the best even better and stays abreast of the constant changes with health insurance policies and procedures. She also enjoys the changes in fashion trends and styles and makes sure our selections are always up to date.

Mrs. Ansley D. Irvin

Ansley Irvin is our Eyewear Consultant. She is a 2003 Cum Laude graduate from State University of West Georgia with a degree in Political Science. She has excellent communication skills with our patients and exceeds in customer service. She works closely with each patient to determine what lenses and eyewear is appropriate and best suits their needs and lifestyle.

Mrs. Christie Pineda

Christie Pineda is our Optometric and Contact Lens Technician. She has been in this field for over seven years and offers a plethora of knowledge in assisting Dr. Springer and patients. She is very resourceful in finding the proper contact lens for those “hard to fit” contact lens wearers.

Ms. Heidi Tweedell

Heidi Tweedell is our Customer Service Representative. She is a local from Arnoldsville and a sheer delight to help schedule appointments, verify insurance and assures a pleasant check in to our office. She is always most helpful, positive and never leaves a stone unturned. She is always determined to find an answer to any question.

Mrs. Deven K. Cason

Deven Cason is one of our Optometric Technicians. She assists with refractions, visual fields & OCT testing. Deven is from Atlanta and is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics. Deven is detail oriented, seeks perfection & is a great asset to our practice.
